The project:
Technical evaluations, economic and financial analyses,
financial plan, technical assistance and training programme in
the context of the E.U. sponsored project for the upgrading
and restructuring of the Romanian airports. Technital,
together with SEA - Servizio Esercizi Aerportuali of
Milan, has been charged with the study of the current
operation of the 17 Romanian airports.
The project aims to help the Romanian Ministry of Transport
make fundamental decisions on airport policy within a land-use
planning approach by
-
analysing and demonstrating the economic and financial
viability of the seventeen Romanian airports as autonomous
enterprises, distinguishing between those airports which
should be upgraded and those which should be closed or
converted for other purposes;

making clear recommendations for the future development of the
most viable Romanian airports, and in particular providing:
-
technical recommendations and plans for infrastructure
development
-
financial plans for investment
-
technical assistance and training programme.
